Cheese Strata Souffle

14 sl Sandwich bread w/o crusts
1 lb Shaved ham
3/4 lb Sharp Cheddar Cheese grated
3 Eggs
3 c Milk
1/2 ts Dry mustard
1/2 ts Salt
1/2 ts Seasoned salt
ds Nutmeg
ds Worcestershire sauce
1 c Crushed corn flakes
6 tb Melted marg. or butter

In greased 9 X 13 dish layer 1/2 bread, ham, cheese, and repeat until used up. Mix eggs, milk, mustard, salt, seasoned salt, worcestershire sauce and nutmeg. Pour over casserole, cover and refrigerate overnight. In a.m. stir crushed cornflakes together with margarine and sprinkle over the top of casserole.

Bake uncovered 1 hour at 325 degrees. Watch the time, may be done in 50 minutes. Test by putting knife in center, if comes out clean it is done. Dries out unless used with 15 or 20 minutes. Leftovers may be frozen. When re-heating may be necessary to add a little milk, especially if re-heating in microwave.
